About Borderline Europe
Personal reflections on political realities - from Sofia to Brussels
My name is Gabriela, and I am a politically engaged student from Bulgaria with a deep interest in international relations, youth civic participation and the evolving role of Eastern Europe within the European Union and beyond.
This platform was created as a space to explore how politics, both local and global, affect the lives and choices of young people. I write from a generational and regional perspective that often remains underrepresented in international political discussions.
The insights are shaped by hands-on experience with youth diplomacy, public speaking, and policy-focused programs across Europe. These opportunities have helped me refine my voice and strenghtened my belief that youth must not only be included in political conversations, but empowered to lead them.
Through Borderline Europe, I aim to connect analysis, opinion and personal reflection - bridging gaps between East and West, generations, and ideologies.
Thank you for reading - and for being part of the conversation.
What I Stand For

Youth Voice
I believe young people shoud not just be heard - they shoud be listened to.
Europe's Future
I explore and work for the ideas shaping Europe's future, from the fringes to the center.
Clarity over Noise
In a world full of information, I choose meaning, not volume.
